Creating an Autumn feel in your home
Whenever I think of autumn, my mind fills with images of trees with golden leaves, early evening sun that casts the most beautiful golden glow, it even smells different outside!
I don’t know about you but as the nights start drawing in, I always want to snuggle up on the sofa, candles lit, giving off their gorgeous fragrance, warm cosy blankets draped over the sofa ready to pull onto your lap when the night get a bit chilly.
I’ve been browsing the web for gorgeous accessories to give my lounge a cosy autumn feel. The British Blanket Co have a selection of beautiful blankets in the most gorgeous colours. I love these burnt orange and mustard colour throws. The one on the left is extra special Merino wool and on the right is their navy & mustard herringbone, perfect to drape over the sofa!
Autumn Door Wreath
Isn’t this gorgeous? Found this one from Lights4fun, Etsy have some beautiful ones too!
Apothanie is a fellow Berkshire small business and Nichola makes beautifully fragranced hand poured candles that have a pure luxury feel. Do pop over and take a look!
And of course, with autumn comes hot chocolate! Last year I kept seeing photos of people’s hot chocolate stations and I’ve decided to make a space for ourselves, my two are old enough to make their own now so they can just help themselves. You can go totally crazy with this idea, honestly get lost on Pinterest for hours so many ideas!
And as for the hot chocolate itself we always have Twinings Swiss Hot Chocolate its delicious, its the only one we have found that has sugar instead of acritical sweetener which give me instant headaches!
I’ve ordered some jars from a shop on Etsy, ill take some photos of our space and share them on social when its all set up!

I hope this blog has given you some inspiration! I have to say I’m looking forward to a cup of hot chocolate, movie & a snuggle with my girls!
